Love. TRAVELING MERCIES. This is a first, and we are obsessed. @caroglover8 sent over this pic today - the @travelingmerciesbar bar design on a shirt, the sketch by the oh-so-talented @paulheaston. Even when we aren’t there enjoying our favorite Vesper in town (hot tip - it comes with an oyster), we will be there in spirit while donning this cute tee. 💙💛💙

Pals, products, inspiration. BDNY 2025. Had THE BEST time in New York this week seeing all things boutique hospitality and hopping around the city with new and old friends. Feeling very creatively energized. Thank you to all of our gracious hosts and for @boutiquedesignmag for putting on a great show.

End of Summer. THAT’S A WRAP. A few highlights of an action packed season:

1. ELEVATION HOTEL. Enroute to our project in Crested Butte, the drive over Cottonwood Pass was timed perfectly for the most epic sunset, ever. (These hues were also the driver behind the public space color scheme).

2. Public space finish review with the crew.

3. BD FALL FORUM. Megan was lucky to have been invited to the @boutiquedesignmag Fall Forum this year in Newport, RI. Loved connecting with old and new friends in the hospitality design industry. Thanks to @bernhardthospitality for the nomination, @boutiquedesignmag for the incredible couple of days, and to Debbie with @lefroybrooksusa for the video (and great company!).

5. PICCOLO BUCO. Off to Tampa for the art and accessory install @piccolobuco. Architecture and ID by @ariagrouparchitects

6. Install Frank.

7. Install Megan.

8. We are now offering sunset photography as a scope option.

Fin. MOUNTAIN RETREAT. There really isn’t anything better than happy clients enjoying their space: “I finally had a chance to visit our mountain house and it looks SPECTACULAR!!! Thank you so much for your hard work and fantastic taste. We absolutely love it!” -Our lovely repeat clients.

Whoa. 2025 IIDA RMC BESTawards. We are so VERY excited to have won two awards last night for our Jaguar Bolera project - BEST in the Play / Hospitality category and BEST of the BEST which considers all projects in all categories. Thank you to IIDA for these honors, it means so much to us coming from an esteemed judging panel of leaders in the interior design profession from all over the country. And thank you to @iidarmc for also throwing (what we know had to have been,) an amazing event. We are so, so sad to have had to miss it last night, but it does not diminish our appreciation of it all!

Also, congrats to all of our Denver interior design peers - we are always truly inspired by the fantastic work you are all doing.

Lastly, a HUGE thank to our internal, external and trade partners team for making it all happen! Jaguar was a labor of love and there are so many that worked so hard to make it a success. ❤️

To the Hills. MOUNTAIN HOUSE. Kicking off a rural retreat, a vision board to get us started. With textural, warm, Swiss chic, and modern chalet being some of the goal descriptors we are very excited to be back working the higher altitudes. Fun fact - between the two FAM founders we’ve worked in many amazing mountain locales - Aspen, Snowmass, Steamboat, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge to name a few. We have a few tricks in the hygge toolbox.

As an estimated 125,000 visitors descend on New Orleans for a festive weekend, we’re reminded of all the fun we had working on this historic property on Frenchmen street. The 27-room full renovation embraced the eclecticism and energy of the neighborhood. Go sports.

Art break. FAM HEADQUARTERS. At our design studio the art collection is ever evolving and pays homage to our past projects. Each piece is by an artist who has also adorned the walls for one of our clients. Art is the cherry on top and good for the soul.

Here for it. BEET. @archdigest posted a video last week stating “beet is the new neutral” (link in story). We love this celebration of one of our favorite hues. As they mention - it’s “shapeshifting”, “it’s moody”, “enveloping”. We agree. Warm, dramatic and plays well with others. Sharing a few of our favorite beet forward projects. Hot tip - the three swatches at the bottom are @benjaminmoore paint colors that were a big success in these spaces. From left to right - El Cajon Clay, Vintage Claret and Bewitched. Cheers to the year of the BEET!
